Now that we're at 3 weeks, I'll probably just photograph every day, and I'll only leave comments when I feel something exciting has happened.Day 16-I haven't been home for 2 days to handle the babies, and I beleive it was a curical time. When I tried to handle them this morning, they're shooting out from my hand like little rockets. One shot out onto the floor, dashed for my bedroom, and curled up asleep in a sweater I had on the floor. That was close. Now is definatly the time to watch them carefully, and I'll need to do a lot of handling to make up for my time away.
Day 17-Today I noticed that all their little personalities are starting to show. Some are much jumpier and crazier, some are more timid and calm. They're already starting to loose that baby look, they're starting to look more and more like adult mice every day. I took photos of each baby individually and posted them at the following address-go check them out!! http://www.geocities.com/jenmarie1111111/babypageday17 (I also added the direct link on my links page)
Day 18-Today they're nibbling on mom's food and even trying to figure out the wheel!!
Day 19-Well, I've been handling the babies as much as possible, and its paying off, because they're not jumpy anymore. I can pick them up without them shooting across the room. Looks like we've passed through the flea stage without any casualties! Now is my favorite time in a baby mouse's life-they're exploring everything, trying everything, and all trying to play on the wheel at the same time!! I could watch them play on the wheel for hours!
